Senior Program Manager
Gabriel Morales is a Senior Program Manager overseeing the Foundation's stakeholder engagement activities and events. Gabriel works closely with program officers and community partners to design and lead a visibility strategy that captures and advances the work of the Foundation.
Prior to joining the Citi Foundation in 2013, Gabriel was with the NYC Mayor's Office helping with the Young Men's Initiative, a comprehensive multi-agency effort to improve outcomes in education, employment, justice, and health for black and Latino young men in New York City, which served as the model for President Obama's national ‘My Brother's Keeper' initiative. Gabriel has also worked as a general assignment news reporter in Southern California and Texas and as an Admissions and Outreach Coordinator for a charter management organization at High Tech High, a prominent and growing group of charter schools in San Diego County.
Gabriel graduated with a Master of Public Administration from the Robert F. Wagner School of Public Service at New York University. He also holds a B.A. in Broadcast Journalism and International Relations from the University of Southern California.
